Parking:
There is a range of parking in Winchester including the four Park and Ride sites. People can choose from Pay and Display car parks, Pay on Foot car parks, and now it is possible for people to pay for their parking by phone.
Free parking in all Winchester City Park & Ride Car Parks on Sunday. (If parking on residential streets please ensure this is done considerately. Remember, emergency vehicles may require access).
Please see the information for the parking onsite at Winchester Sport and Leisure Park:
- 283 parking spaces for customers including 10 blue badge spaces, 4 electric car spaces. Users of the leisure centre will receive 3 hours free parking.
- Paying users will be able to book a session through the Ringo App or website
- Bar Field Park and Ride is the nearest other car park if the car park gets full.
- Cycle Parking – There are 18 secure covered bike parking stands outside the front of the facility.
Meet your instructor: Lorna
Lorna has been teaching yoga to all ages from teens to octogenarians since 2003. She teaches vinyasa Yoga, Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga, restorative yoga, chair yoga, desk yoga and yoga for cyclists. Lorna is now also a SUP instructor, sponsored by Quroc paddle boards. She teaches yoga holidays abroad, including to Spain, Greece, Italy and Turkey. Lorna’s earlier career included subtitling, translating and university lecturing but she is now focusing on her teaching and on her family. She lives near Winchester with her husband and son.

Who grabbed their free 7-day pass for the leisure centre? Winchester Sport & Leisure Park
Yet another great Park Yoga session this morning, with plenty of smiling faces.
Today, participants were lucky enough to be offered a FREE 7-day pass by the leisure centre… definitely worth grabbing.
Park Yoga is very grateful for all the invaluable support we get from not only the leisure centre, Winchester City Council and Yogi Tea…. More than anything, we value YOUR support in coming along every Sunday morning to make Park Yoga worth doing, and we very much appreciate all your donations too.
Please remember that our final Park Yoga will be on 13th September; this will be the last one this year across the country.

It’s SUNDAY tomorrow, and we’re delighted to say that it’ll not only be dry again for Park Yoga, but it also looks like it won’t be scorching hot…. But still quite warm.
So, perfect conditions to enjoy yoga outside in a lovely community environment. We’ll be starting outside the leisure centre as usual at 9:30.

Another big thank-you to Summer from our local charity radio station Winchester Radio for coming along to see what we’re all about, and even trying yoga for the very first time too.
We’re looking forward to seeing her again and to welcoming her grandma who lives very nearby!
