Meet your instructors: Fliss
Fliss’s yoga journey began back in 2009, immediately becoming a daily practice of hers and supporting her through life’s challenges and opportunities ever since. Wanting to share the joy of yoga with others, she went on to qualify as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 2016 – offering classes within the community, online, one-to-one and also bespoke courses for well-being within the workplace. Knowing the benefits for mental/emotional as well as physical health, she subsequently trained in both Teen Yoga and Kid’s Yoga; introducing Yoga and Meditation classes for children, young people and staff into a number of local primary and secondary schools.
“Yoga for me is about tuning in and finding what feels good. Every day and every practice is about discovering something new – about yourself, your practice and what’s possible. Being in the moment, connecting back with ourselves through movement and breath, we learn how to bring more balance and integrity into our lives – both on and off the mat!
I am passionate about creating a safe space, accessible for all, where we will feel empowered, energised and at ease, whether this is our first encounter with yoga or a life-long friendship. Having the opportunity to marry all this with the earth beneath us, the sky above and nature all around, only serves to enhance our practice. I invite you to join me and see where it leads.”
Wow, what a wonderful offering Park Yoga is. It has been a joy to bring YOGA to the community of South Molton for all walks of life to come together and practice as one.
Park Yoga allows us to be in our own little community but also to be part of something larger the bigger community of Park Yoga with thousands of people across the UK, joining the sessions every week.
One of the memories that will stay with me from this year’s season, is seeing all you wonderful students walking in from different entrances into the park, with your mats rolled up underneath your arms And gathering together to practice as one.
I feel truly blessed and honoured to be able to guide you through the sessions and I look forward to welcoming you again in 2025.

I teach one class a week at Filleigh on a Monday night. However, this class is currently full, but you can be added to the waiting list if a space comes available.

My highlights were the church bells, timed perfectly for savasana & the exhilarating feeling of being soaked to the skin by a downpour, that didn't see anyone leaving their yoga mats.😎
