Meet your instructors: Fliss

Fliss’s yoga journey began back in 2009, immediately becoming a daily practice of hers and supporting her through life’s challenges and opportunities ever since. Wanting to share the joy of yoga with others, she went on to qualify as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 2016 – offering classes within the community, online, one-to-one and also bespoke courses for well-being within the workplace. Knowing the benefits for mental/emotional as well as physical health, she subsequently trained in both Teen Yoga and Kid’s Yoga; introducing Yoga and Meditation classes for children, young people and staff into a number of local primary and secondary schools.

“Yoga for me is about tuning in and finding what feels good. Every day and every practice is about discovering something new – about yourself, your practice and what’s possible. Being in the moment, connecting back with ourselves through movement and breath, we learn how to bring more balance and integrity into our lives – both on and off the mat!

I am passionate about creating a safe space, accessible for all, where we will feel empowered, energised and at ease, whether this is our first encounter with yoga or a life-long friendship. Having the opportunity to marry all this with the earth beneath us, the sky above and nature all around, only serves to enhance our practice. I invite you to join me and see where it leads.”

Park Yoga South Molton

Park Yoga offers FREE outdoor yoga sessions at South Molton, every Sunday from May to September.

🌳Thank you to everyone who embraced & showed up for Park Yoga in South Molton!🌳

😎It felt so very special spending Sunday mornings in the park, building community & getting to share the wonderful, transformational practice of yoga !

🧘🏻‍♀️So many lovely people came together, whether the weather was sunny or drizzly.🧘🏽‍♂️

My highlights were the church bells, timed perfectly for savasana & the exhilarating feeling of being soaked to the skin by a downpour, that didn't see anyone leaving their yoga mats.😎

I hope you all have your own lovely moments & experiences to share.... ones that will stay in your memory from this season of Park Yoga.💕

I'm really excited for Park Yoga 2025 & look forward to seeing you all again (along with all the people you spread the word to & inspire to show up!)🤩

If you want to continue your yoga journey over the Autumn & Winter season, there is lots of yoga on offer at Zen Active...a beautiful, fully equipped yoga studio, near the park.

My weekly classes at Zen Active are:

🌻Mondays - Morning Flow 10am (I also do an online class- Slow Flow- at 7pm, via Zoom)

🍂Thursdays - Morning Flow 11am & Evening Flow 6pm

🌻Saturdays - Rise & Shine 8.15am

There are also regular monthly Yin Yoga sessions available & popular bi-monthly Self-Care Sunday sessions.

(1-to-1 sessions are also available upon request.)

Zen Active also offers pilates classes, massage, osteopathy, sound baths & drumming journeys, as well as some new offerings in the pipeline!🥳

You will be warmly welcomed at Zen Active, with a discount offered if you want to book a block of yoga classes over the next couple of months.🙏🏽
