Meet your instructor: Bonnie
Bonnie was first attracted to yoga because of a debilitating experience she had with sciatic pain. If she wanted to heal, she knew that something would need to drastically change in her life. So, she decided to go all in and embark on her first Yoga Teacher Training Course in Thailand, 2007. A four month intensive course learning not just about postures and their sequencing, but the esoteric effects and the boundless philosophy that stands at the heart of a yoga practice. The sciatic pain was healed. Since then, Bonnie has attended another three Teacher Training Courses and continues to deep dive into the world of holistic therapies and coaching.
In 2013, Bonnie moved from London back to her home county of Cornwall where she now lives in Fowey, working as a full-time yoga teacher, healer and coach. Bonnie runs yoga classes, bespoke 1:1 programmes, private groups, workshops and retreats worldwide.
Bonnie is passionate to bring this knowledge to others so that they may also benefit and find relief in their body from pain and dis-ease the same way she did. Being able to live her life in full vibrancy was such a game changer, which she believes is everyone’s birthright.
Bonnie’s teaching style is light hearted and person centred. Her classes allow time in the poses, offering verbal cues to help you experience the pose more deeply with the correct alignment. There is always focus on the breath and modifications are offered for all bodies.
