Meet your instructor: Lorraine

Hi, I’m Lorraine and I love yoga. I’m excited to join the Park Yoga Community for the 2025 season. I’ve been practicing yoga for many years and completed my training in 2023. Yoga has been a guiding light through life’s highs and lows, and along my journey I have met some amazing people and formed wonderful friendships. Practicing yoga in nature is a joyful experience that allows us to be present and feel a deep connection with the environment, after all – we are nature. Come along for an hour of uplifting yoga – inspired by the rhythms of nature. Yoga is for everyone, it’s nourishment for the mind, body and soul – flexibility is not a requirement!

There’s something very special about practicing yoga outdoors in the summer - connecting with nature, with ourselves - experiencing the fresh air, birdsong, and the calming beauty of nature all around us. Through Park Yoga, we’re so lucky to bring this experience to our community in a way that is accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone.

💚 Why Park Yoga?

It’s completely free, making wellbeing available to all
No booking or membership needed—just turn up.

Welcoming for all levels, from complete beginners to regular yogis.

A chance to connect—with nature, yourself, and a friendly community.

While sessions are free, donations of any amount are warmly welcomed to help support the charity and ensure these wonderful sessions can continue for everyone to enjoy.

I truly look forward to our Sundays in the park—they’ve become such a highlight of the week.

It’s a chance for all of us to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters.
