Moors Valley Country Park
Come and join free outdoor yoga sessions in the beautiful forest location of Moors Valley Country Park.
9.00am – 10.00am every Sunday morning from 2nd May to 29th August.
This year, in order to bring back Park Yoga sooner rather than later, we have put some additional measures in place to ensure our events are safe and in line with Government Guidelines.
For Track and Trace purposes we are asking you to pre-register for our events. It is FREE, quick and easy and secures your place on the day. Pre-registration opens 7 days before each week’s event.
Moors Valley is situated ten miles north of Bournemouth; it is signposted from the Ashley Heath roundabout at the junction of the A31 and A338, between Ringwood and St Leonards. See map.
On a Sunday morning parking until 10.30am is just £1.40.
You can pay when you arrive or anytime before 10.30am but you MUST exit BEFORE 10.45am or normal charges will apply. See more information.

Meet your instructors: Sam and Rachel
Sam Wills is a 300-hr accredited yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. I began my yoga journey in South Africa 12 years ago, but found my life’s purpose and passion when I started teaching yoga in Verwood, Dorset about 5 years ago. I teach both children’s yoga and adult yoga and love them in equal measure. My teaching style is rooted in traditional Hatha but sprinkled with Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles. I like to mix things up in my own practice and love finding new variations on usual poses. Not only does this add spice to a yoga practice but I am able to offer students several variations that they can explore and adapt to best suit their own bodies.
My name is Rachel Eyers. I have been teaching Sivinanda yoga for 7 years in sports clubs, leisure centers, hotels, on the beach, privately and most recently at Moors Valley, by the lake. I am very passionate about teaching yoga and helping people on their journeys in life along with yoga in the great outdoors. I feel very privileged to be working in an idyllic setting, in the heart of a natural environment; surrounded by an abundance of old wise trees and wildlife and water to feed the soul. To be at one with oneself and nature is a beautiful thing. My first experience of teaching Park yoga was very touching, customers were so kind and appreciative of my first class and all clapped. Staff at Moors Valley couldn’t do enough to ensure the transition ran so smoothly. I am so excited about being part of a kind and dynamic team of customers and staff who have made me feel so welcome. Namaste.
