Would you like to gain key marketing skills while volunteering for a small, but impactful charity?

Following the success of our first internship scheme in 2025, in 2026 we will be looking to appoint two voluntary interns. Our Interns will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of marketing communication skills, while gaining an understanding of the charity sector. As a small charity, there will be lots of opportunities to get involved with a variety of projects and make an impact on our 2026 season. As such a flexible, can-do attitude is a must for this placement.

  • Role dates: Ideally between April/May – September (we can be flexible on start dates to fit in with course requirements)

  • Building a database of social prescribers / GPs close to our venues
  • Finding opportunities for participants to access active travel schemes to cycle to Park Yoga for free, for example the Beryl Bike Community scheme

Depending on the skills of our interns we will allocate roles and responsibilities accordingly. It is likely that one intern will focus on content creation and the other intern on all other elements of our marketing communications strategy. Feedback from our 2025 intern

“Thank you so much to the wonderful team at Park Yoga for trusting me to be their very first intern. I’ve learned so much over the past 14 weeks about the charity sector, short form video creation, analysing engagement statistics, and writing informative and engaging communications. It’s been a pleasure to learn from the Park Yoga team and work alongside them to bring free yoga to 50+ parks across the UK and see the positive impact it has had on our participants. 💚” Erin.
