I discovered yoga in my mid-20s during a difficult time in my life. It helped me to recentre and to find a way to focus on joy in my life again. I completed my 200hr teacher training with a focus on vinyasa. My teaching style is open, inclusive and joyful, with a focus on finding what feels right for your body in the moment. My classes are playful and fun to help nurture your inner child and enjoy the process of feeling more connected with yourself.
Thank you to everyone who joined me today for our final Park Yoga session of 2025! It has been an absolute joy spending Sunday morning with you flowing in Greenwich Park.
A big massive thank you to our volunteers, Ana and Esma, who have been amazing support.
If you'd like to donate to Park Yoga, you can do so via the website - parkyoga.co/donate/
I can't wait to see you all again next year!
If you'd like to keep in touch in the meantime, you can find me on Instagram (@flowingwithaimie) or you can sign up to my mailing list to hear about upcoming winter classes - forms.office.com/r/jjBhwR4qWx
It has been an amazing first season at Park Yoga Greenwich and I'm bereft that tomorrow is our final session.
Thank you to EVERYONE who has joined any of our sessions - whether it was one or two or if you're part of that dedicated group who has shown up every single week - you are all amazing. I've loved seeing your smiling faces every Sunday.
If you have enjoyed the Park Yoga experience, please do consider making a donation. Park Yoga is a charity and any donations mean that we can continue to offer these amazing classes for free to get more people experiencing yoga in our parks.
I'll be taking donations tomorrow, but you can make a donation at any time through the Park Yoga website.
For many people, this is their favourite pose of the practice. It's restorative and is much needed after a few vinyasas. However, it's a pose with many underestimated benefits.
1. It helps reduce stress (of course) by encouraging you to turn your attention inward and slow down the breath.
2. It's a gentle stretch for your hips, inner thighs, spine and ankles.
3. It helps improve your circulation.
4. It can help with digestion.
5. It can even help relieve back pain (especially if you've been hunched over a computer all day).
If you were looking for a sign to take a child's pose more often, this is it. It really is a magic little posture. ... See MoreSee Less
