Meet your instructor: Tara
Tara has been teaching yoga in Exeter since 2014 and has obtained the British Wheel of Yoga foundation certificate and studied for two years with the Devon School of Yoga to gain a 500 hour Teaching Diploma. She is also a Yoga Associate with The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity.
Tara teaches both Hatha Flow and Yin Yoga and all classes encourage body awareness and acceptance with the intention of achieving both physical and mental stress release and a sensation of ease and calm in both body and mind.
Tara’s approach is relaxed and light-hearted. Students are taken through a flowing series of postures which are held long enough to improve strength and flexibility whilst using breath control to balance the nervous system and calm the mind.
