Chippenham: John Coles Park

Where?

Join our FREE Park Yoga sessions in this beautiful green space in the heart of Chippenham.

When?

9.30am – 10.30am every Sunday morning from 5th May to 15th September.

Parking:

There is a small car park off Fleet Road but spaces are limited. Visitors are urged to walk or cycle to the park wherever possible or park in the nearby car parks, particularly on summer weekends.

Facilities:

  • Refreshment Kiosk
Drinks and light snacks are available from the kiosk that is independently run. You’ll find it by the play area, adjacent to the Fleet Road entrance. It’s open all year round.
  • Splash-Pad
The Splash-Pad is arguably the most popular attraction in the park. It caters for children under 12 and is open from May – September (10am – 6pm) and offers a chance to cool down in the hot weather whilst having heaps of fun.

Meet your instructor: Kyla

Yoga classes with Kyla are accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to all. Kyla’s teachings offer individuals an opportunity to find their own rhythm, with a gentle focus on alignment to increase physical strength, concentration, and balance. No two classes are the same, sometimes a gentle flow, sometimes restorative, always strengthening through our connection to breath and the physical body.

Kyla likens her classes to a shared journey, through a mixture of movement and breath-work as way of connecting and finding a deep inner peace. Kyla is looking forward to sharing with you her knowledge of traditional asana (postural-practice), pranayama (breath-work) and her love of the Sanskrit language, often utilising sound to connect through Mantra (chanting).

Whether you are new to yoga or already have an established yoga practice, Kyla invites you to join her every Sunday for Park Yoga in in John Coles Park.

Together we’ll find a way to connect and restore.

Om, shanti, shanti, shanti.
