On road parking is available on Queen’s Park Road and Ormerod Road, just a short walk from our Park Yoga sessions. There is also Bank Hall car park on Queen Victoria road which is free of charge. (If parking on residential streets please ensure this is done considerately. Remember, emergency vehicles may require access).
We’ve been paying attention to our breath in our yoga practices , did you know that we take around 20,000 breaths a day, and most of the time, we probably don’t notice. Whatever you’re doing today pausing and simply observing your breath can be a good way to be present . 💚
If you’ve been enjoying Park Yoga please do keep spreading the word. I’ve spoken to quite a few people this week who’ve not heard about our little community so please do keep sharing the joy .
Finally (sorry once I start talking Yoga I can go on a bit ☺️) - if you’re looking for things to do and maybe be a little more active; it’s worth checking out Burnley Leisure & Culture, who support Park Yoga and have lots of outdoor activities and events coming up over the summer. ... 106 people joined us for Park Yoga in Queens Park this morning — regular faces, brand new faces, all ages, all moving in their own way together beneath blue skies and sunshine ☀️
Today’s practice centred around finding balance between effort and ease… and that’s exactly what Park Yoga is about. There’s no perfect way to do it — just space to breathe, move, and meet yourself where you are.
Thank you to every single person who came along and made the morning feel so special , so lovely to see friends and also the wonderful community connections ❤️
Apologies for any sound issues , hopefully our more permanent kit will be available next week. Thanks too for any donations , everything is appreciated. ... See MoreSee Less
